Growth with a Game Plan
The Washington Street Enhancement Project is a neighborhood encompassing project to rebuild and restore The Washington Street Community to the thriving community. Through considerate collaborations and cooperation from neighborhood residents, community leaders, existing local businesses, and organizations; D-UP's contribution makes up a fraction of what's in store for the Washington Street Community.
Hear from our long time supporters and friends Joe Blosser, Rishaunda Moses, and Gerard Moses. These active community leaders have been with D-UP every step of the way as the program has evolved and expanded offering their welcomed support and guidance. Their perspective of the Washington Street Enhancement Project exemplifies all we wish to share with the community as D-UP makes its next big step.
#RestoreTheHope
We are looking to expand our programs and build a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), Gym, and Arts Complex and a Black Box Theater on Washington Street. These buildings will house programs and activities that focus on empowering and inspiring young people through health, wellness, and education.
The Washington Street Enhancement Project would provide further opportunities for the Washington Street community through access to arts and sciences.
